The Betts Wet-R-Dri Valve is a lightweight and compact quarter turn in-line stop valve. This easily maintained and versatile valve is widely used for liquid, gaseous or dry products and is available in a variety of sizes. The manual detent model provides a positive stop in the open and closed position as well as a detent spring and ball which assist in holding the disc in the open or closed position. The body is offered in aluminum, cast iron or stainless-lined with coatings available for increased chemical resistance and extended service life. The disc seal and shaft O-rings are available in a variety of materials to optimize chemical resistance and service temperature range. Bolt pattern matches TTMA piping flange dimensions.

Model PAF450 incorporates a 10” (254mm) reclosing pressure relief valve (PRV) mounted to a center mount 16” (406mm) clamp ring style manhole. It includes a P/V normal vent. The PRV cover also serves as a quick open inspection hatch that incorporates a secondary safety catch. The manhole and clamp ring are certified and marked in accordance with 49CFR178.345-5 with a test pressure of 36 psig.

The Betts gate valve is an economical manually operated external stop valve that offers a double action hand wheel for efficient closure. The standard 316 stainless discs offer premium corrosion resistance and the adjustable packing nut with woven PTFE infused packing allows for easy stem adjustments. The metal-to-metal seal has advantages for many applications, but is susceptible to wear and scratches. A normal vent designed for use on MC306 & DOT406 cargo tanks. Model 6496 has a pressure setting per 178.346-3(b)(2) of “not less than 1 PSIG” and a vacuum setting per 178.346-3(c)(2) “no more than 6 ounces” which allows for efficient recovery of vapors during closed system loading and off-loading. Unique roll over protection retains product at any attitude of rollover. Vent is flow tested and marked.
